Classic Army Steyr AUG A1

Hello oh great doctors of airsoft! xD

I come with a question about the CA Steyr A1. I'm undertaking a restoration project for the A1 and i'm missing a number of parts for it.

The parts that I can see that I'm missing right now are:
- the pin that holds the upper receiver to the gun body
- the sliding cover that slides back when the charging handle is pulled back and covers the ejection port and protects the hop up area
- the plastic separator wall that separates the gearbox and the battery area
- a buttpad; and
- something that holds the fire selector in (as when i slide the fire selector, the entire thing seems like it can come out)

does anyone know where I can get spare parts or parts to fix the A1? If yes, then that would be amazing and I will be forever indebted to you =D

Just to let you know, there is no fire selector on an AUG. Perhaps you mean the safety?

Do any of you doctors have or know where I can obtain the gearbox cover? (ie, the plastic piece that goes behind the gearbox that separates the gearbox and the batter)

(additional information. found out the AUG is actually an A2. Although I assume the gearbox cover on the A1 and A2 are the same.)

Thanks! =D

Still trying to look for a gearbox cover, basically the one that goes behind the gearbox.
Anyone know of anyone who has it or where I can get it? Thanks!

[Not the stopper rail, I know where to get that =)]

ah. you mean the back plate. You can see if someone who deals with CA directly can get you the parts. I think strikeairsoft might be able to get parts.

The only part of the back plate which is important iis the top half. It holds the mechbox in place so it doesn't move back creating a bad airseal at the hopup. You should be able to just make something yourself.

Something that goes across the screws and is wide enough to cover the spring guide part of the mechbox (maybe 35mm x 20mm). If the mechbox still can move around in the body, wrap the plate in tape to make it thick enough so its touching the back of the mechbox.
