Also there are plenty of players out there playing in fairly cold climates year around, somebody must have asked Maekiii in Finland what him and his friends are using.

Well here in Quebec Guarder clear and Promy soft are very common...
I will have to test some VSR-type rubbers this winter, as the stock WE hop-up rubber is inconsistent in sub-10 temperatures... for some reason the gun works fine under zero, but rubber is random.
