Sig motor housing problem
In the sig 552 (version 3 mechbox) the motor housing (unlike the ak one that fully surounds the motor) is just a kind of clip and is made of the same metal as the rest of the mechbox. Well this part is broken (the one at the bottom left on this diagram (17 I beleive)http://www.airsoftplayers.com/sig/sig6.jpg ).
Is there any effective way of mendin or gluing or welding it back together? If not has anyone come across a replacement part? (I've looked everywhere without success) thanks very much for any assistance. |

I just took a look on WGC, and they didn't have that part listed. I'd say your best bet is to get a good metal epoxy like JB Weld (CT automotive section) and glue it back together. There isn't a ton of stress put on that part... how'd you break it in the first place?

no idea it just broke while I was putting it back together. Also the holes for the screw are pretty badly striped any practical solutions? (I used coper wire to rethread wich worked somewhat mediumly well)
