The SCAR does use standard M series magazines, but it can be unusually fussy about brands. I used nothing but Magpul mid caps in mine, because they always worked well. Once you find a type of mag that fits and feeds properly in your SCAR, buy a case of the same type.

We've got most VFC parts related to the models we carry. Give us a heads up or contact your local supporting dealer, and we can order them up for you with our next routine VFC shipment. So many parts, it's a constant battle to keep them all stocked. But we're up for the challenge.

And the SCAR is back! Now the FN Advanced Carbine with some changes and a PDW version.
I sold mine simply because the locker was too crowded and it was one I didn't use more than once a year. Saw it at the last game still running strong.
