O-rings for RA-Tech KSC Glock CO2 mags?
Those of you who run these mags, did you notice the valve o-ring is incredibly easy to tear, thus resulting in leaky mags?
If so, what did you replace them with? I'm having a hard time matching the right size at Home Depot, then went to McMaster Carr last night and got a so-so match on one of their Silicon o-rings. Curious to hear what others' findings are. |

Go to Princess Auto or similar and get a box of assorted orings. I got one for like $15 or $20 and it includes many rings of about 40 different sizes.
EDIT: found the one I have. http://www.princessauto.com/pal/prod...-pc-O-Ring-Kit Last edited by Styrak; June 20th, 2012 at 18:10.. |

Couldn't you buy ones made specifically by KSC or RA Tech? Or is it their o rings that are the issue?

Styrak, good idea, I shall grab a box of those if the ones I ordered from Mcmaster Carr don't work out. Although, methinks if I measured and matched using a digital caliper you'd think my choices would be good. The o-ring box kit would have just the standard sizes? Did you find one in that box that worked for you? I'm referring to the main valve o-ring (the really thin one that seals the valve against the body of the mag) |

There's some fairly small ones in there, I'm not sure if they're small enough though. How big?

K so... I actually nailed them with my McMaster Carr order.
Here are the part numbers (if anyone cares): 9396K15 - Silicone O-Ring, AS568A Dash Number 010 - this one is for the valve o-ring 9262K103 - Metric Buna-N O-Ring, 1 mm Width, 6 mm ID - this one is for the CO2 nozzle o-ring The best part is that Silicone o-rings can be used as spacers for M4 hop-up units too. |
