Importing Hi-Capa Grips

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I'd like to know how many people have SUCCESSFULLY personally imported grips for their Hi-Capa. I hope this thread gets enough replies to create a thread that everybody can refer to when they're questioning whether or not its safe to import this item.

If you have been caught before, I'd like to know what happened to the item, and your record, and if you've successfully imported these grips since then.

Hicapa grips are not a restricted item....
They are not the receiver...

Yes, I am aware. Have you ever had one of these confiscated at the border though? For a few years now I've wanted to buy grips but I'm afraid an ignorance agent might screw me over.

No, they will not not be confiscated. Also, I've received Tanio Koba grips.

Not hicapa grips, but I had a set of Kimber RS grips come in without any issues.

About 25% of the Hi-Capa grips I order get seized. I've claimed them back, but it's a pain in the ass to go through the process.
