what do i need to up grade if i want to run co2
Im building a c7 from a we gbbr and instead of propane i want to run co2 i have already upgraded to a ratech aluminum nozzle, trying to find a metal hop up unit for the gun, planning on ordering a angry gun recoil kit for it is there anything else that needs to be beefed up?

Good luck. PS did you new bolt-nozzle need any machining or did it drop in? Thanks |

I run CO2 in my WE M4 and no problems with it all I did was replace the factory trigger pack with the RA trigger pack. I did install a RA hop up unit just because the adjustment knob is way easier to operate then the factory part. And I also installed a green hop up rubber and it seems to hold up better then the factory rubber. As a side note make sure screw and bolt is blue lock tighted to avoid any un-necessary mishapes on the field due to recoil.

My nozzle dropped right in no problems at all. Where did you find the hop up redneck?

Was it the m4 open bolt kit you got for your gun

No sorry I am still running the closed bolt but the lower reciever parts are interchangable between OB and CB. I am considering the open bolt conversion but right now I will use the crap out of the closed bolt till something major breaks then switch over.

I'd avoid the RaTech trigger pack parts... they're not 100% to spec, and if you creep your trigger to the break instead of jerking it back, it (at least for me) had a nasty tendency to run away and empty the magazine, even if the gun was on semi. NOT something you want in a game.
Turok suggested the CWI parts for this role. I've got them running in my gun and I'm more than pleased with the results. |

Love CWI, much more to spec than RAtech.. purchased around like 12 sets, worked flawlessly for customers' guns |

No, I don't believe that's true. WE includes a new, complete trigger group with all their open bolt conversion kits, and there are several subtle differences between them.
