5ku Mini Patriot Kit doesn't fit

Hi, I got the 5ku Mini patriot kit: http://www.ebairsoft.com/5ku92-mini-...nt-p-5392.html

The problem is the barrel nut doesn't seem to fit. Not sure if I'm not installing it properly or if the thread is not compatible. I'm trying to install it on a TM m4.... damn box says it's TM compatible! Any input would be helpful!!

Maybe they sent you a gbbr version?

1st problem you have is it's a 5ku.. (most often then not you need to modify 5ku stuff to fit properly) 2nd problem you have, is the kit you purchased is for a WA GBB or AEG it's not going to be TM compatible.

Hope you learned your lesson. Never buy 5KU. They make the worst fitting and shittiest parts on the market.

Actually the kits supposed to come with multiple rings for fixing the frnt end on, if you only got one of the inner nuts then its missing pieces. Ive succesfuly ordered and installed this kit on a tm before.

Ignore there useless help as they cant read or look at pictures, 5ku can be hit or miss, but seeing as ive had to mod just as many name brand prts to fit as 5ku or other "shitty" brands i see no difference, quality is lwr yes, but not horrible.

Do not be discouraged by a small hiccup or by they nay sayers.

I got 2 rings and it's the barrel nut that does not fit onto the upper receiver. Seems like the thread is not matching so it's possible they sent me the rings for the GBB version...

Anyways, I emailed EBair and they're asking for pics. Don't know if this is going to lead to anything helpful!

I was under that impression too, then I bought a 5Ku Compensated Limcat cutsom 6" for my HiCapa and it's of pretty decent quality actually. A few retailers that list manufacturers of parts also state that Airsoft Surgeon was the maker despite de 5KU brand (true or not, I can't tell)

Just thought I would chime in. I think it's best not to place all our eggs in the same basket

Ah see mine came with four rings, two barrel nuts, gbbr and aeg, then two inner rings for snugging the kit tight, and i knw this seems obvious but second barrel nut isnt in the front end already is it? (Mine had one screwed in already). The picture route with eb is hit or miss sometimes hes quik otheer times sow as shit
