Well L96 cylinder head sorbo pad.

Hey guys.

I recently took out my sorbo pad for my L96 because it didn't fit they cylinder head so well. I was just wondering if anyone know what type of rubber that is made out of and where I could get like a thing of it. It's becoming very costly to buy them($15) and doesn't seem to fit/last very long.

Thanks for the help.

Sorbo is short for Sorbothane, which is what it is made out of.

Stealth's store, airsoftstore.ca, sells sorbo for 4 bucks a piece. $15 is ridiculous.

Contact me ASAP if you want a size that's not currently listed. Our order gets sent out TONIGHT, we typically do monthly restocks.

Also, you might be able to partner up our upcoming NeoPads with the sorbo pad to make them last much longer. Why are your existing pads wearing out so fast?

Ya they get really pricy. I always been loyal to one store that is why I end up paying so much, haha.

I didn't mention I'm using modify piston head. Their not exactly flat. So with the up and downs on the surface of the piston head the sorbo pad tend to get uneven then just falls apart. Another thing is, the inner diameter is a lot wider than the hole on the cylinder head which also cause an issue. I figure I'd buy a sheet of the rubber and cut the hole myself.

Rubber is not the same as sorbothane and doesn't offer the same shock-attenuating properties. If the outer diameter is anything like a standard AEG cylinder head, you can use our sorbo pads for Silent piston head sets.

If your sorbo pads are just falling apart, I would suggest upgrading to a higher durometer sorbothane pad. Perhaps 70? Also, the sorbo pad should have a Neoprene pad installed.

The sorbo pad on airsoftparts.ca works perfectly... it is 15 dollars though so if stealth has the same product in stock go for it
