Dan Wesson C02 Revolver Downgrade
Like it says, I wish to downgrade my Dan Wesson revolver so it doesn't shoot so hot. With a .20g its shooting between 480-490 even though the box says 453. Only one field down here lets me use it and even then I have to be extremely careful where I place my shots. This being my only side arm I want to know if there is any way to lower the fps on this thing so I can use it. Maybe changing the valve? I don't know.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have no idea how to down grade one short of adding a muzzle velocity reducer to the end of the barrel. (if that's even possible.)
I did want to ask you what pistol you had and what you thought of it? I am considering purchasing one once I can get a semi auto pistol for my secondary. They look like they'd be fun to shoot.

I was looking at the 4" chrome model. glad to hear you like it. Thanks for the info. hope you can find a way to reduce the fps..
is the barrel threaded? if so what about something like this? http://www.airsoftreview.net/cms_vie...4821e30d154299

is it propane or using the CO2 powerlets? if its propane, try duster instead

weaken the hammer spring (the spring that drive whatever hits the valve) or if possible, buy a weaker one.
try cocking the hammer and letting it sit for a week then chrony it again, though this may only be a temporary change so you'd have to recheck it periodically. |

also depending on how shitty the metal they used, you may want to put something to hold the hammer back incase the pressure is too much for the sear to hold for a week,, ive had similar issues in revolvers, and not only airsoft revolvers

Has anyone tried drilling holes in the cartridge to release a bit of air thus pressure from the shot. That way you wouldn't have to modify the hammer or the gun.
