How to clean the TK twist barrel?
Sorry about the Necro post but how do you clean the barrel? I've tried with the regular cleaning rod but it doesn't get the dirt out of the burrs. I have heard that you should use a brush, but I fear that those will scratch the inside of the barrel, making it inaccurate. Help please

using a lathe is the best way to do it. cut the barrel to length +.050, use a new(or well sharpened) carbide cutter and run the barrel on the lathe at hight speed(with coolant) while taking off .001 on each pass until you get to the length you want. just have to cut from the inside edge out, so that the coating is supported as it's cut.
