KA M4 Spring downgrade?

Completely new to all this but, I have been told at my local field I cannot play with my gun the way it is (420-460 FPS), and need to down grade the spring.
I have the spring but really need a HQ tutorial on how to install, as I have never done anything like this before would take to a gun tech but nearest one is few hours away.

Take it to a gun doc.

The nearest one is not a few hours away. Actually there are a few within an hour of you.

My friend just got a King Arms M4 and we replaced the installed spring with the included downgrade (original stock) spring. Here are the instructions that I found on the internet. Unlucky for us, the downgrade spring still result in the gun shooting an average of 425 fps.

Step by step instructions on how to take apart King Arms M4 (to get the gear box out)

Remember - watch the videos carefully so that you have a good understanding of what you need to do. For us, the most difficult thing was separating/reattaching the upper and lower recievers.

They should have done this for you where you bought the gun. The cost is generally about $30 to $60 depending on the gun, etc. This is what happened when I got my AEG. Did it right there while I waited. They told me it would take a few hours but when I hemmed and hawed over the purchase they agreed to do it right away. Took about 30 min.
