Just how good are the prices in the AV retailer/classifieds sections?
A Canadian retailer is selling the full metal King Arms Colt M4A1 for around $300, while supplies last. I've already met with an age verifier, just waiting for the status to kick in. Should I buy this, or are there better deals to be had in the classifieds/AV retailer sections?

Prices are all over the map right now; due to new retailers coming on the scene as well as changes in border enforcement regarding importation. Now is a poor time to buy anything, wait a few months if you can for prices to stabilize.

I paid $360 for mine a few months back and to me, that was a good deal. But Kokanee is right, if you can hold out a little while, things will settle in and we'll probably be looking at slightly better pricing.

Buy it @ $300. You won't find better in the AV section.

You're talking about Customs Notice 12-005, correct?

I've seen one KA M4A1 at sub 300$ (280 if my memory's good) just yesterday.
Unfortunately I really don't remember where; one of them retailer having a special I guess. But all in all we can't give you urls until you verified status kicks in 300$ is still good - but as said earlier, wait a bit and you're more likely to save even more |
