G&P Elken Double image

Well, got an 'Elken' from Airsoftparts. Came to me faulty which didn't really impress (Or surprise) me much (They could've atleast checked it before shipping). Its been a month now so chances are I won't be able to return it so I might as well give a shot at fixing it.

So far, The scope doesn't seem to have any damage on any of the lenses or anything like that, but i'm sure theres something screwed up inside , I'm just unsure how to dig into the thing to correct it... Or what I need to do to correct the problem all together.

This is what I see when looking through the lense. It seems to be stuck 'zeroed' to the bottom left, and the blue area i have highlighted is the double image I get. Kind of annoying.

Anyone have suggestions or experience with this kind of thing? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm legitimately lol'ing right now...

As far as I know, getting into tube sights and scopes is risky because they may be coated or vacuumed. I'm not totally sure about your model in particular, but I'm assuming you've already rectified your problem, given the two years, yes?

how far is your eye from the sight?
how close is it ?

have your eye right up to the sight and slowly move backwords until you have a full clear picture in your magnifyed sight.

try that yet ? its eye relief

Is there even eye relief on that? I thought the G&P couldn't magnify!

Long story short: The scope was given off in a trade as just a decoration.

I did take it apart. What was wrong, was that the prism wasn't mounted inside the scope properly. The glue they use to center it was thick on one part and set the prism out of alignment, and fully fucking up the scope. It was a lost cause from the moment I bought it.

(Thanks for checking that ASParts!)

I have a Spectre DR now, much better scope.

I don<t see what was ASParts fault...

You want them to open up every item package they receive?

It was your job to return it before a month if the unit was faulty.

It's G&P QC's fault, no ASParts.
