Jump to Lipo - Buffer tube - worth it?

So after two years in airsoft I am finally seriously considering making the jump to lipo batteries after ofcourse researching this site:
http://infectedairsoft.wordpress.com...teries-part-1/

The plan is to pick up one of those KA buffer tubes from Jugglez and use with an Elite Airsoft 1100 2S 7.4V 20c Lipo Stick Battery Pack.

The question is - is it worth it? The only reason I am even considering lipo is for the size difference/weight over using a bulky crane stock (I like to be as light as possible) - Is it worth it as in, will I be changing out my battery every half an hour etc.

I'm not gonna lie - I did get confused when trying to figure out what my motor needs amp wise at an attempt at finding the duration of the battery life.

Currently using:
JG Hightorque blue motor
Modify s120 Spring (probably down grading to s110, shooting too hot)
Stock ICS gears

Completely worth it. A 1100 Mah 7.4V battery should be more than enough to last you through most one day airsoft games. All you need to do is make sure you have a proper balance charger and that you don't drain your batteries completely and you're good to go! The trigger response alone has convinced me to never go back to using NiMH as my primary batteries. Ideally you should also install a MOSFET in order to preserve your contacts.

Now I remember mentioning this to you before about installing a mosfet - I figured the task was harder with an ICS split mechbox - mine also being rear wired -

Arguably I recall seeing one of the big names on the forums - one of the more reliable sources none the less - saying that I wouldn't have to worry about the contacts so much if I went with a 15c as opposed to the 20c

On a side note - after reading so much over the ASC forums and google I plan to use the Tenergy LiPo/LiFePO4/Li-Ion Balance Charger - again trusty Jugglez carries.

If you are still using a crane stock, you can actually fit 7.4V 2000mAh nunchuck Lipos like I did. You will sure have power to last all day.

A buffer tube will limited you to tiny batteries with lower capacities.

Don't forget to us use a Lipo alarm to prevent over discharging the Lipo by mistake.

1+ for a Mosfet as well
