Prometheus M16A1/A2 air nozzle
Does anyone why Prometheus has a separate nozzle for M16A1/A2s? AFAIK M16s take the same length barrels and use the same mags. Reason I ask is that I'm building a DMR with a 509mm inner barrel and don't know if I should be taking the A1 or A2 nozzle.

The A1 nozzle is shorter.. its meant for older marui type A1s and the car15 ( i believe the vn also). They do have a different hop up. A2 nozzle is suitable for most current armalite applications .

Thanks for the tip! You just saved me the money and hassle of buying both and figuring it out myself!

The A1 mounted with a completely different setup. The M16A1 was Tokyo Marui's FIRST attempt at any Armalite series.
Since then, the M4A1 and M16A2 came out with vastly different (and improved) assemblies, which became the de-facto standard for almost all clone AEG's to date. |
