DMR M4 hop up consensus?

so I've seen the "best m4 hopup" question pop up on and off here ... but my searching skills suck... was their ever a consensus on the "best" one piece m4 hop up for a DMR style rifle?

receiver set is G&P .. front end/outter barrel is Madbull JP ... I've got a Prom 6.03 363 mm .. a guarder clear with the nub removed, and a scs spacer

velocity is high 390's

initially I was trying to decide between a madbull ultimate .. or a one of the new modify with the gear type lever

but the thought of one of the CNC housings, with a laxlax strike kit came to mind too

thoughts? ideas?

I'd go with the Modify one. Some people have trouble with the Madbull one (including me) as it's kinda picky on the type of bucking you use. It does have that nice adjustment wheel but due to the modification you'll need to get it to work, I'd just go for the Modify one (which I love at the moment).

Heya, apologies in advance for threadjacking..

I'm one of those folks who have had lots of trouble with the Madbull hopup. I've tried both the included blue bucking and a G&G green bucking with no luck. I've noticed poking around the net that the included blue bucking doesn't work for quite a few people.

I'm thinking of setting aside the Madbull hopup unit for later experimentation and in the meantime trying out the Modify hopup unit you mention above and I'm curious... what bucking would you pair with it?

I've had great success with Guarder clear, Systema and Modify buckings (I'm using this now).

personally... guarder clear for under 400fps ... ARS for over 400fps ... and spacers ranging from stocker, cheapo H .. and shredder with the rubbers nub removed... depends on the purpose of the build

The prometheus chamber itself didn't fit in my super picky M4, ended up using a systema chamber with prometheus hardware, and a firefly rubber. Worked freaking fantastic. Better than SCS and guarder clear IMO.

Mine didn't fit either, but a hobby file sorted it out
