Sicky trigger contacts

Hi guys,

For lack of a better term it seems like my trigger contacts are sticky.

This particular gun (G&G M4) sometimes gets stuck firing on full auto for a few moments until the contacts get rattled apart and it returns to normal.

When I take my gearbox out of the receiver and pull the trigger slowly (i.e. once every 2 seconds) it I can feel the friction (and hear the rubbing sound) of the contacts coming together but then every so often it will lack any friction and it will feel like they have stuck together. I can pull the trigger at that point repeatedly with no friction or sound from the gearbox at all (this is all with battery and motor disconnected of course). After a few more pulls and perhaps a gentle tap to the gearbox, they come apart and it starts to feel normal again.

I'm wondering if any doctors here have any tips on how to debug this situation and perhaps get the contacts to be more slippy and willing to come apart after coming together. I've checked and replaced my trigger spring with a fresh one and when I have the gearbox apart it seems pretty peppy and strong.

I could take it to a doctor but since this is my gearbox-maintenance learning gun I'd prefer to learn to fix it myself.

Thanks

Clean and/or bend the trigger switch contacts into a position where it doesn't happen but still connects.

I was able to catch them in the act while the gearbox is open

Thanks for your patience with my noob question .. that fix was easier than I expected and after some bending the contacts seem to have stopped sticking (but still make contact)
