Skeleton Sidearm Issue p226
Alright so before you guys start knocking the pistol it's not mine, just a good friends. The primary issue is, after the mag has been gassed and loaded the gun will begin to shoot normally and then half way through the clip the gun will just empty all the gas in the mag. Any help would be greatly thanked.
Cheers -Brett

These pistols are not worth fixing. Seriously one of the worst GBB's I've seen.

+1. I have one and have had nothing but trouble with it. A good exercise in increasing gunsmithing proficiency (and patience) though.
What else is happening when the gas vents? I'm thinking the mag isn't mating properly with the blowback unit because of excessive play in the slide.

The play in the slide with those is horrendous. The slide wobbles just as much as a drunk trying to stumble home.
Best bet would be to try to sell it to recoup some loss and then save up for a TM (the best) or a KJW P226. TM and KJW share the same mags and parts so either one is a better investement. I dont like the KWA P226 because it uses only KWA mags and parts. TM/KJW mags are much easier to come by

Thanks guys, as for a more detailed description its loosing more and more gas (more is coming out with each shot) until half way through it empties the only thing is it only does it with 2 out of three mags which is the confusing part and yes it has been tested multiple times. He may try and sell it if something comes around though.

kwa parts aren't that hard to get... just call kwa in the states and have what you need shipped... outside of the lower. What's nice is that RS accessories fit the KWA without needing to be handy with a dremel.

I'm pretty sure it's to do with slide play, because as the slide moves it gets tilted up on one side which causes the blowback unit to separate from the magazine, leaking gas. The other consequence is that either the slide fails to push down the little nub (shooter's left side of the hammer assembly) to reset the valve knocker, or does not reach it at all due to gas leakage, thus venting all the gas.
Solution: What I did involved loctite and paper, gluing successive strips together to very gradually space the slide rails and underside of the slide until I got it to work [mine also had auto-firing "issues" (only an issue because of the propane stench, pretty cool otherwise)]. Or, if you value the time you have on this earth, pick up a TM and never look back.
