G&G Blowback system and others
I currently live abroad, but will be moving back home shortly. I have a GR 15 DST and instead of selling it (economy is bad here so I wouldn't get much for it) I was thinking of stripping it and taking the upgrades and gearbox and motor home with me.
So my question is this, are there G&G (or other) receivers available that would accommodate the blowback system from a GR15? I have seen other makes on the Canadian market with blowback systems, APS is one that comes to mind, but have yet to source any G&G models with it. And I don't mind ABS uppers/lowers... my GR15 is the TAN one in ABS and I think its great! If not, is it possible, or even worth it to deactivate the blowback and install it as a normal gearbox? Either route is easily done. Get age verified once here and youll have no issues. All you need to do to disable the blowback is pull off all pieces involved and replace the cylinder so theres no port hole
