PolarStar Fusion Engine finally ready for pre-order

Very interesting, but waaaaay too expansive! WTH?! 425$ for the dropin kit, still have to buy that HPA rig Time will tell if it's a win or not I guess! Discuss |

Needs to be in V3 and I'd be all over it.
For $425 though it's a fair price considering R&D costs and all that. I fully expect the price to drop to ~$375 after a bit of time on market and they've recouped some of their R&D costs. It's still a bit steep for me though but the thought of being able to use HPA....

Still, they do sell a "PR-15" with full RIS, CNC'd and all that stuff for a total of 685$
I understand about the R&D part but I wouldn't even consider it until it's around 250$ personally. |
