KJW vs WE Pistols
Sp im looking for my first side arm and I have narrowed it down to these three:
KJW M9 Metal Slide vs KJW Beretta 92F vs WE M92 Obviously I would like to go with a TM, but consider the price of these I have decided to consider them. I'm looking for a gun that is both reliable and accurate. #1 being Reliability #2 Accuracy. What do you guys think about these three pistols (specificly KJW vs WE) in terms of overall reliability quality and which would you recommend? (Yes im waiting for my name to be added to the AV list on the site so no need to say it, its already in motion) Last edited by anthon; August 4th, 2011 at 10:47.. |

Get a KJW Beretta. The WE Beretta is a proprietary piece of garbage.
The KJW is TM compatible so aftermarket repairs/upgrades are easy to find. |

The metals used in WE pistols are bad enough as it is. Having a plastic lower will only crack all the sooner.

I highly recommend the KJW. I run a KJW HiCapa 5.1, full metal (upper/lower), model KP-05, using CO2 magazines. To date, I've fired about 30 magazines through it. There is no signs of wear/tear, cracks, parts shaking loose, or what-have-you. The pistol has run consistently with no jams, double-feeds, or incomplete slide cycles (except in those instances when the CO2 powerlette is giving out). My next pistol will be a KJW 1911A1 (classic), solely based on this pistol's performance. It's reliable, kicks hard, and build is fantastic. Wait for your AV to go through - you'll find some good full-metal pistols in the AV'ed retailer and used equipment section, including the model you're looking for. I think you won't regret it. |

KJW M9 had one for almost 7 years...liked it so much after the first 4 years, I picked up a second one.

You can get cheaper full metal KJW M9's if you get Age Verified

I don't have any experience with KJW GBB's, but have had several WE guns. The WE's have functioned good enough, but have had consistently leak prone mags.

I havent used a WE pistol yet, but I have a KJW MEU and other than a slight outer barrel rattle I am quit happy with it over all.

The orange tip is of really no concern, if its plastic you can pull it off, if its painted a little nail polish remover and elbow grease with fix it.

Thanks Guys for the Tips and comments....I cant wait till my AV get attached to my account. Waiting has been sooo painful, I just want my pistol and all this talk about the AV retailer section is making me even more impatient.... You guys have convinced me that I just gotta wait it out, and as soon as my AV goes through....hit the retailer section.

1.5 leaky mags with my KJW M9 Elite with plastic lower body, but otherwise, Mr. 360FPS Stock doesn't seem to dislike me all that much, AND I roll around in sand with it. Just, be careful with the mags. Though, I hear that WE just doesn't do mags generally.
