Upgrading the WE PDW.

Iv deceided to completly upgrade my we pdw internally and externally. Since I am converting to the open bolt system, can I use my ratech complete upgrade package for the pdw that I bought a while ago, and will that adjustible nozzle fit in the new carrier? Or will I specifically need the NPAS for the open bolt version?

Two more things. First, will the m4 stinger hopup fit in my pdw? Lastly, I plan on getting a new trigger assembly. I am looking into this one specifically:

Is this the same as the original, just with a ratech name slapped on it, or is it custom build from cnc'd parts?

If you're converting to the open bolt system you'll need the open bolt npas!

And open-bolt mags. Those are slightly different.

I believe you can buy a kit to convert your existing mags for ~$5 per mag.

hmmm posted my question on another thread but this one might be more appropriate.
I need to make sure I'm ordering the right parts for my WE PDW.
Now the one I bought is a closed-bolt BUT I've already bought the open-bolt conversion kit. Now I've got to install a NPAS system but like mentioned in this thread there's seems to be one for the closed-bolt and one for the open-bolt. but it seems to me that this can't be all you need for the open-bolt system right? I mean compared to the closed-bolt NPAS it seems... minimalistic. Also on the eHobby page for the open-bolt NPAS, it mentions "Recommend to use with Guide Rod". So where's that guide rod at?

Any help/clarification would be greatly appreciated...

For the open bolt all your doing is taking out the existing plastic cylinder valve and replacing it with the npas valve. The tool next to the valve is for adjusting fps when the valve is in the nozzle.

To the OP re: the full trigger kit. I have the exact same one for my WE M4 and I DO NOT recommend it. The sear and hammer have hooks that engage each other on SEMI that is not as effective as the original design by WE. Myself and Qlong have tested it and it has shown that on SEMI, u will need to push the trigger forward in order to reset it or else it will still be caught by the sear. We had to mod the sear and hammer to get it to work properly. Ive also got the stinger kit but I havent tried it. You should also consider the ra tech recoil spring, im not sure if its compatible with PDW, but its supposed to give greater recoil.

Well I've just installed the open-bolt kit on mine and the fps w/.20g BBs droped from 435fps on the original AWSS system to 350fps with the open-bolt (on the firsts shots). Then it drops down close to 300fps at the end. It's on propane and I'm inside at about 21°C. I saw a few posts on some forums of the WE PDW open-bolt shooting around 350fps so I don't think there's a problem with it. I tested it before installing the NPAS system wich I ordered with it but really I don't think that it's even necessary since on a very warm day there's no real chance of it jumping all the way up to above 400fps. What do you guys think?

I bought this gun a couple weeks ago with the sole intention of creating a tunable (fps wise) CQB beast and have enjoyed it in its stock state, but I'm ready to take it out... Problem is, it's shooting at around 395 fps and the limit at my arena is 330. I'm having a hard time getting the Ra-tech upgrade kit for it to go into it. I got the Rag-we-015 kit from Redwolf Airsoft, but it comes with no instructions, not even a parts list. I feel like a super noob right now with my piece in... well, pieces. Has anyone out there gotten this kit and figured it out? It comes with the npas and guide rod, as well as a couple trigger set components and a stinger hop up.
Does this upgrade kit (npas/guide rod) require the Ra-tech open bolt carrier?
How does the Stinger hop up replace the original?

Are there any more instructions/directions on how to complete this mod? I have the Rag-we-015 kit and am trying to get past this step...
Do you need to modify the plastic part of the nozzle like it shows if you have the CNC guide rod?
If you know of any more instructions/directions/videos that might help me, I would appreciate the links and/or some guidance if you've done it before.
