M240 or FN MAG machine gun...
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the FN MAG/m240 GPMG? I could not find any retailer with one for sale either... I am toying with the idea of mounting one in my Ferret!

You're not gonna have too much luck without getting verified.

Well, I've been an unverified member of airsoftcanada for about 5 years so odds are I'm over 18 by now... Unless I first came here at 12 years old or younger...

And sorry, we can't grant you verification just for being around since 2006. Contact a regional rep. Last edited by BloodSport; June 24th, 2011 at 22:21.. |

That is pretty awesome though, that must be an ASC record except for maybe someone out of Canada.

Shrapnel, I've got an E1 240B. I love it, it's unreal.
I'm no gun doc, but out of the box the biggest issue in my opinion is accuracy. It definitely needs a longer inner barrel, a tightbore at that. Someone else made a post regarding internals but I'm too lazy to find it. Pretty solid AEG imo |

I have two M4, a M16A2 and a Glock 17 in my airsoft inventory right now (always good to have spares for friends!) but I want to put a gun in the turret of my Ferret so I could use it in future games (once it is restored to working condition). The Ferret is equipped with a GPMG craddle (for the Brit version of the FN MAG) so an M240 is the only airsoft gun I can mount without extensive modification. We used it once in a static role but with a M4 shooting through the mount but aiming was difficult... I could order another type of mount from England but it would be for a Browning M1919 which is not made by anyone in airsoft... And the mount costs 1000$ with the shipping! But I could fit a real steel semi M1919 in it...
Toronto Airsoft seem to have one in stock. I contacted Redwolf Airsoft earlier and I'm waiting for their reply. If Redwolf cannot ship to me, I will contact Toronto airsoft (thanks for the tip Strelok!) Redwolf has a much better price but shipping could be problematic... Thanks for the feedback stricken! I would need to fit a longer inner barrel then... |

Redwolf Cannot ship to you because we live in Canada ... you sure you've been AV'ed?
