which brands share mags M14 to SR25 or Scar H ?

hey everyone ... was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to throw up which brands share mags between their SR25 model and M14 model ... ofcourse this also means they have to make both.

in a perfect world I would hope TM does both... but I don't remember ever seeing a TM SR25 ...

the other part of this ... would be opinions if said company is worth picking up and modifying

I'm aiming for an assault/dmr'ish platform (probably the m14) .. and a more sniperish/dmr platform (the sr25? )

I think ARES and vfc?

Last I checked sr25 mags and m14 mags are totally different.

the mag catch is in two totally different spots.

a Scar-H and a M14 can take each others mags (depending on company)

Most of the SR-25s use their own magazine. One or two brands will swap but it's dicey.

Ares does it's own thing for sure. I don't think they'll even swap with the MK 17.

I think there was only 2 companies that where cross compatible in terms of scar-m14

I've head of mods being done to SR25 mags to fit into a VFC(ares?) Scar-h
and that sr-25 mags fit into CA scar h

I might be sorta in luck....

it 'appears' a G&P 7.62 AR platform (sr25 or xm110 I honestly dunno if or what difference there is) uses a TM compatible m14 mag ...?

I think the only one that truely shares a mag is the Star ? ... (dunno where I got VFC from... )

eh... more then likely enough time till I can purchase an SR25 anyways to figure something out ...

or maybe look more towards Scar H and M14?

Vfc scar-h can use the sr25 mags. However to make them fit you have to shave out the rib inside the mk17's magwell. A very very minor sacrifice in order to use magpul 20lr mags the feed perfectly. Unlike the vfc mk17 midcaps which, while accurate, suck balls. They are about as reliable as an addict on payday.
