Tm vsr-10

I came across a cheap VSR-10 and I'm trying to figure out if it's a TM or a clone. Is there a sure fire way of determining the manufacturer? There is a little sticker on the left that says Hop-up with little lines on it, and the cylinder is held together with pins.

-Thanks.

Cylinder head is brass. Previous owner spray-painted the cylinder and said that it shoots a guessed 285fps.

Check on the rubber plate of the stock.

TM says VSR, clones are not.

It also says ASGK on the left side of the receiver, just in front of the ejection port.

And it says Tokyo Marui on the trigger box. You have to remove 2 screws under at the front of the stock to remove the whole barre/receiver.

Barrel is engraved just in front of the receiver, left side :

Warning : Refer to instruction manual.
Tokyo Marui Made in Japan

Cylinder/bolt has 4 cross pins at the rear and 1 under at the front.

That gun looks like a clone to me... plastic is way too shiny for a TM.
And that bolt looks like crap and has 6 locking pins...

Would not buy for more than 80$

I don't believe that is a TM or a JG... Looking at the cylinder... The bar would be rubber coated, and the TM has a different cylinder. If you look at the trigger mech, the TM metal is blackish/greyish while the JG is potmetal.

You bought it for $70? That would be in no way shape and form a TM VSR(Well i guess shape).

I haven't bought it yet. Looking at Well VSRs, the bolt handle is different.
