The only problem I've ever had on a TM Sig p226 was the original TM mag. There's a problem with the valve on the top where the spring inside actually dislodges itself and becomes stuck on the top of the valve. I had 3 mags do this to me when I owned a TM 226 but fixed the problem when I replaced it with a hi-flow valve.

4 sigs and shitloads of mags later, i've still never had that issue. maybe it was a problem with your valve striker or mag placement, did you run it with a metal kit?
a spring set should run you about 10$ish, skip the hammer spring.

TM P226's have loads of aftermarket parts and replacement parts are easy to find (at least here in the States.) With a little extra cash, you can dress them up nicely:

completely stock everything, the spring pops out causing the valve to get stuck and just spews gas out. Took it apart relubed it still got stuck, so I just got fed up and sold it.

I own 2 TM P226's, one is bone stock and the other has a FMU sherrif kit, no problems with either. I just keep them clean and lubed and the seals on the mags well oiled and they run great

TM made their 226 mags as two piece mags. The most common leaking problem ive ever encountered was when people overfill the BB's in the mags and the center screw is not tightened enough, it forces the two halves apart slightly, allowing gas to escape.
