Nope.

G&G aks only use G&G bodies. So no luck on that.

If you wanted to use G&P, you're looking to replace nearly everything external on the AK, I started out with a G&G combat machine ak47, tried G&P, had nothing but bad luck.

Well, when it came to the G&G and G&P parts fitting together, there was a lot of fitment issues.

Screws wouldn't line up with the stock plastic front end.

The G&P front end I bought wouldn't fit to the G&G barrel set properly. The gas tube inside is circular while the G&P front end part that fits into that is octagonal. So I had to file down that part so it'd fit in. The G&G barrel would also fit in loosely and was able to pop out since there was nothing to secure the barrel to the gun aside from friction. the G&P front set is for tokyo marui only, and has that little lug that screws in and fastens to a hole in the outer barrel, which the G&G outer doesn't have.

Back to the body itself, the battery tray won't fit, even with modification, it just doesn't sit right on the different body. And lastly the bolt carrier cover doesn't fit 100% and wobbles a great deal unless you have something stuffed inside to keep it from moving.

There is a lot you need to replace if you want a full metal AK. A lot. My gun is at a gun doc's right now and he's just finishing up replacing the last G&G bits (Aside from stuff like the selector switch and trigger guard. Lol)

Just expect to do a lot of replacing.

This is old so i wanted to give an update for everyone who is thinking of changing there plastic lower receiver for the G&G RK47(wood and realistic bolt assembly, not the cheap plastic version).

I easily installed a G&P AK47 metal receiver without any major problems, this was so easy. Just a few modifications so that the bolt assembly slide, thats it!

So to all you who say G&G AKs are not TM compatible, i can confirm that they are.

cheers

SOME of them are. Not all G&G AK's.

Make note that the AK i was stuck with was the G&G Combat machine. Which doesn't have the full bolt assembly, wood, etc.

They're pretty much a whole new gun in a sense. It's good to know that the other version is workable at the least. Combat machines are just an endless bout of frustration.
