M14 trigger group
I was shooting my new M14 today,I noticed the trigger
will not release the hammer sometimes. Those of you with this WE M14,have you noticed this, and does the problem go away after break in.? It will fire if you reapply pressure to the trigger again.

Sounds like a sticky trigger almost, I've never really noticed anything like that with mine...
Have you greased any of the parts in it? |

Yes I did clean it,I used a can of silicon lube with the straw,
and hosed it out,all that grease. Then I dried and relubed with silicon with a tube of silicon oil. This one might just need a break in period.I'll keep an eye on it.

Oh dude, Silicon is only for stuff that requires a seal, using silicon might have actually caused your sticking trigger issues

I was under the strict impression that only silicon oil
is to be used on these, and I mean all GBB's.I have quite a few bottle of gun oil I could use?

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

this was the first sign in my M14 before the trigger box halves completely broke apart, as the halves push away from eachother, the hammer moves forward and the trigger cant move far enough forward to release it,
look at it and see if it looks like they are pulling apart further than normal at the top, if so, the little stubby pin that WE used may have broken off, I drilled a hole through the whole box and put a huge ass steel pin through to hold it together |

Is that the hammer or trigger pin you are talking about?

Sears shouldn't be lubricated with oil, sears should be lubricated with a grease

its not a sear or hammer pin, on the left side, up at hte top, theres an extension of the front half of the housing that goes over the top and down slightly over the rear housing, with a moulded in blob as a pin, and mine broke there
