See... I was only saying that you should do it indoor to eliminate any variation in wind (a sign of a good quantitative test is that you try to eliminate any outside forces so you can test one, maybe two variables with everything else held constant). Lab tests are ideal conditions whereas field tests aren't but at least with field tests you can see in real life what's happening in real life.

Doing this outdoor as well is probably a good idea too since you can see how much wind will affect a BB being shot from a TK barrel vs a "conventional" barrel. However you may run into the problem of being able to measure crosswind where you are when you shoot the BB but fail to account for the potential of gusts/squalls downrange as well as possible wind shear factors.

Obviously this is worst case and likely you're not going to have a 10 knot crosswind going one way then some crazy wind shear with a squall of 20 knots going in the opposite direction downrange or something like that but there is a potential for that to mess with your tests/findings. That said maybe it's not as severe and wind is relatively constant and you can virtually eliminate wind messing with your groupings in that case. Just something to think about.

At that velocity, a Twist barrel will actually perform worse than a 6.08. It flies wildly at the middle of its effective range when you're shooting that hot.

Anyways, I promise I'll get this done this week.. Christmas break... and laziness.. and my cylinder head shot off when i tried the 150, and... lol... anyways my new cylinder/cylinder head is here now, so the first test I'll do will be the barrels, and then I'll work my way around. I'll try to do a 30-40ish ft test indoors and a 100-150 ft test outside.

Tonight I'll do the barrel comparison. I've decided, for consistency's sake, (pun kind of intended), I won't use hopup, and I'll zero each barrel, then do a few 10 shot groupings with each.

Anyways, here's my first grouping. I'd imagine if I had the gun vised down, the grouping would have been able to be covered by the penny. I'm still getting used to the whole parallax thing, and this one didn't have a specific target, so I'll try to do a better one tomorrow, and hopefully get a grouping for the EDGI barrel. These first tests will be done at 30 ft.

The left 3 were shots 1, 3, and 7, top to bottom. The right grouping was all the other shots (total of 10 shots)
