Your sear is likely worn down. I despise the clone guns but even the TM had issues with the innards wearing down if upgraded. Pop a zero trigger in that and you will be smiling.

Not a sear.

That part that is ot pushed all the way in is called the spring guide lock or retainer.

It goes in the cylinder behind the spring guide in the little square hole. It keeps the guide in place when you cock the cylinder. If that part is not pushed all the way in, it won't do anything when you try to pull the bolt.

It can be hard to fit in. On my gun I had to remove the trigger guard and hammer it down with a plastic screw driver handle. The little tab on the side seems to suggest that you can do it with a single finger, but it is not the case. Basically, there is a bump at the end of the guide that will match the hole on the retainer when fully in place. To get in position, you have to move the guide against the main spring with only that little lever.
Make sure that the cylinder is in all the way and in locked positon before attempting to set that piece.

Your sears might be worn down, but that would be an other problem. Installing a zero trigger solves the sear problem, but there is still a spring guide retainer, and it is a LOT harder to put in that the stock one.

Do you hear the sear engage to hold back the piston when you cock it back? Do you hear it fire when you pull the trigger? Next thing would be to check if everything is aligned within the hopup and cylinder. Be sure to check that there is nothing inside the cylinder that is obstructing the cylinder head.
