WA GBBR AEG Hop-Up Setup, Whats to know?

So far with my 2 uppers I have not used that setup. My Prime Hop-up upper was the WA barrel version. I am planning out a Diplomat sized scratch build, and I wanna try out a AEG hop-up/barrel type, since I can't get WA barrels short enough(7.5", or ~190mm). Who has tried this type of setup and what issues have you had to deal with? Any info will help...

Thanks in advanced...

try pro win hop up, with a 187mm inner barrel by PDI for patriot 2...it fits almost perfectly on a 7.5" barrel

for the outer barrel, this one works...

it fits fine with a WOC upper..but the barrel might be a bit expensive..dytac might work, but ppl said u have to shave off alot of the barrel...
for prowin hop up u might have to shave off a bit of the plastic to get it to fit into the barrel

Yeah I am getting the Prime barrel, I think the KM and Prometheus also makes inner barrel in that length. I am just not very familiar with AEG setups...

hey RM, yeah it does..comes in a bag with everything in that picture, this one little pin that is thin and small as hell..dont lose that one!

IMO i think its better since u can change barrels whenever for cheaper too...so much more assortment for aeg barrels..

whats this gonna look like this time? every gun ive seen from your collection ive tried to mimic but it just doesnt look as sick as urs. DAMN.

I am using a prime hop up unit for AEG + Prometheus hopup rubber( purple)+PDI inner barrel for m733, it works great. Accuracy level is close to an AEG when on semi, when turns to full auto, all gbbr are the same, you can only expect the bb hits somebody by luck. you need to spray some silicone oil on the rubber and inside of the hop up chamber when you squeez the inner barrel in. it's pretty tight inside. hope this will help.

For that PGC hop-up, do you need to trim the rubber at all? It looks like its sticking out a lot...
