Use prometheus instead of modify
Get a G&P motor instead of Guarder
Use white lithium grease
Get your LiPo from hobbyking.com, you can get an 11.1v 4900mah LiPo for 40$

If you are gonna use that Lipo get a sector clip to make sure that your gun feeds at that rof. Also, the hop up on the A&K M249 is shite, replace the hop up rubber and use Cruchmeisters pattented hop up nub. Which happens tio be a peice of 18 gauge speaker wire. And make sure you replace the electric switch with this.

Don't use white lithium grease. Lithium grease is okay for the cylinder but avoid for the gears. There is a fine particulate that will get into the electrical contacts and causes shorts.

Use any food safe 100% silicon gel/lubricant. Food safe is the key word as it will guarantee that it contains no petroleum distillates.

Switch all your modify parts to prometheus for 5-20 dollar price difference makes a gigantic quality difference. Switch the spring to prometheus

Don't use that piston you are going to prematurely wear down your gears. Prometheus, Azimuth or Supercore for that high RoF setup. And get a Mosfet otherwise you will be replacing electrical every 3-4 months.

I've worked on dozens of guns and never had any issues with white lithium grease...
But maybe it's because I use high quality prometheus gears that don't disintegrate under normal use lol

I am using RC grade ceramic grease or lithium grease... never, ever had any issues.

All mechanical parts that have no airseal, white grease. All air-seal parts, a bit if thick 300K wt silicon oil (actually harder than the grease, but it drips... eventually) and some ultra light weight silicon oil (Trinity Royal Oil).

Recently I found a tube of electric contacts lube. I am trying it in my MG36 to see if it helps with arcing and cabonizing of the contacts...
