Future gun reccomendations
I would first like to say I am not asking how to obtian guns. I am well aware I am not AV'd (two years is going to seem like ten) I am just asking if what I am planning to get is a good choice when the time comes. I have about $1200 saved in my airsoft fund (over 4 years) and I would only like to spend around 800$.
My first pick: KWA M4-S SYSTEM- $470 KWA USP.45- $240 My second pick: G&G M4 CQD- $365 SS P226 GBB- $165 These are all from Capital Airsoft, which by my research is the best place. |

well if your waiting the 2 years or w.e anyways, why dont you just get full metal guns when you get AV'd? for all you know in 2 years prices may have been lowered to what your paying for those clear guns...although there is always the opposite effect lol.

I'm not entirely sure what this opposite effect is, and I dont really care about the metal build at the moment. My research tells me that the guns are great internally and are reliable, so thats all that I need

Also, don't worry about a pistol. Get good kit instead, batteries, charger, mag pouches, vest, boots, etc. Then if you have money left look at pistols. Honestly, don't worry about it now. Thing most likely will be different in two years, different guns will exist, new models, etc. You don't start shopping for cars 2 years before you can buy one. Airsoft is no different.

Don't worry about anything right now. Prices and what you want can change a lot in 2 years (and you don't even know what's in the classifieds yet)

I know how it can be, I was like 15 when I joined the community. What I did was focus on school though which kept my mind off airsoft however I was still a regular visiting here quite often.
For now work on acquiring bits of gear here and there. I don't believe that the gear/clothing section of the classifieds are restricted so you should be fine to order from there (keep an eye out for package deals and good deals overall and don't forget to check your local surplus store they may even give you a deal (ie. no GST) if you buy a lot of stuff at once from them). Keep in mind though you might grow so only buy things where you know your size won't change (ie. vest, pouches, "universal fit" stuff, boots, etc.). As for your list, going by what's available right now looks good however things may change in 2 years time. Also, keep in mind that you "can" play airsoft (depending on field owners rules/decision, they have last say) however we will not help you to purchase.

Trust me, once you go full metal, you won't want a plastic gun. I sold all of my cansoft after I got my full metal guns. In 2 years things might change and full metal guns will be the "norm" and cansoft will be a thing of the past. Be patient and keep on saving.
