L96 spring upgrade trouble

Hello

I just bought a 140 spring for my L96. The diameter of the spring is to big by about 2 to 3 mm.

Look at the picture, the bottom spring is the new one,.

What piston and head should I buy? And from where?

Thanks

That looks to be a PDI 13mm spring,

You'll want a PDI cylinder assembly

Any suggestions on where to get this?

Or, you can find them cheaper on Redwolf sometimes.

I'd suggest upgrading to the full kit... It's worth it

You can get a Modify piston from airsoftparts that will work, though you'll need to purchase a piston head as well for it.

Is the bolt hard to lock back? Changed the 350FPS for the 450FPS spring in my TSD L96, the bolt is much harder to lock with the new spring.

If it isn't harder to lock back, it might be the spring.

Actually it is very smooth to cock, better then before.

This is why I'm worried. Could it be the guide or something else?

Did you put the piston assembly all together by yourself? I saw a big difference between the 350 and 450 Spring when trying to screw in the head of the assembly. (450 being a lot harder to push to be able to screw).

Well for now I changed the hop up and I'm at 415 now... so I'm not going to mess around anymore.

Thanks for the help
