Agm m14

hey everybody

now I know there are tons of threads about the AGM M14, I've read them all, I've read several reviews over the interwebs etc. Now, I know that AGM is really hit or miss. Sometimes you can have quality, sometimes its extra shit.

Now, if I'm buying one used (therefore it has been used in games, you know it works properly) how does the AGM M14 compare to the TM and other brands in terms of performance and reliability?

What I'm saying is, knowing that the actual one I'm interested in is not a lemon, howq does it compare and is it a good band for my buck?

thanks a lot

I do not know for the AGM, But the TM M14 is the BEST on the market.
One of my teammates has one and boy is it awesome.

I have never seen a AGM so I cannot compare them. But considering AGM as AGM.. I'd go by far with a TM

For having held and fired a TM M14, I definately know its incredible. But you know how this goes, being a student automatically equals being poor. So I like to see all avenues available to me.

Also, I'm not looking for a TM M14-quality gun. I'm only looking for an AEG that will not break in my hands the first time I game it. I like the M14 and I can afford this one, plus I read only good things about it (keeping in mind its a clone and not as performant as a TM).

Well, sometimes you have to take a leap of faith - AGM internals are what they are - I own an AGM mp-40 so far no issue after 4000 BBs. Their externals are decent for the price. The worse that could happen would be to have to replace the gearbox.

The general consensus on asc when it comes to M14's are TM or bust.
Im a bit too tired atm to go thru all the details. But the base point is that other M14's, even CA m14's have tolerance issues. Even when upgraded, they just dont compare to the TM's.

I highly suggest you fork over the extra $ to get a TM.

For sure, the TM is pretty darn nice - still the AGM has potential in the hands of a skillful gun tech.

yeah well I realize I'm a cheap ass (more impatient really). I've already had one clusterfuck of a cheap gun, I sure don't mind dodging another one.

I'll keep all advice in mind and continue shopping! thanks

Many moons ago I was on a team that mostly ran M14's... The TM's kept firing no matter what... the AGM's literally fell apart.

Say no to cheap crap!
