Shotgun sight(adjustable?)...

I picked up a G&P 870(long ass one with the folding steel stock) single shot shottie on the cheap, this thing shoots ok but without a sight it feels kinda awkward. What are the option for fitting a set of iron sight onto a shottie? Are there adjustable one out there that you can zero it somehow? Also are there front sight option that replaces the front barrel-to-ammo-tube collar?

I wouldn't mess with the mating collar.

You can always drill and tap the barrel for sights...or cleanly steel epoxy them on.

Simple sights on a shotty might not be much more than a bead post front and no rear...just eyeball down the receiver/barrel and put the post on. Higher post = lower POI, etc...

Just point-shoot it

*but since you're all fancy bling bling...

Search around for Ghost Ring sights...you'd have to drill/tap the rear receiver (not a big deal) and there is a banded front sight that clamps onto the front.

Although I'm sure with the nature of the fake airsoft shotgun outer barrel...you could screw from inside the barrel, up into a different front sight base. You'd just want to be careful not to leave anything visible down the barrel.

if you find one let me know I have the same one, it shoot great for CQB but definitely needs a hop up and sights to tap in it's full potential

looking at these now....probably wait a bit til I finish some of my other project...

I think I'll need to figure out how to take apart one of these CA870 based gun so I can just take the receiver to work to drill and tap the receiver....

Cheaper solution...
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/36172-1.html. But I am assuming its not adjustable sight...

I think you can also go with this:

Mount it upsidedown, and use a small RDS on it....

There is a RAS for the CA870 from G&P but they are a bitch to find, if I can locate them i rather do that and mount a small RDS on it

The reason I am avoiding a top rail is that I want to keep the folding stock....or else I think there are some receiver mounted rail option...

I recently pickup a HiViz MPB sight for plain barrel applications from Bass pro. It's only a front sight though.

mounts over any plain barrel. it seems a bit low but works fine once on it. since you can't really zero it other than rotating it and my m500 doesn't have hopup either, it's more cosmetic.

Having owned a CA870 for a long time, you want to combine an Aimpoint or other RDS with this:
