MP5 cocking handle

I have a TM Mp5, the cocking handle broke off, I as told that the CA one would work fine and I bought one. It seems that the hole in the CA one is slightly toosmall for the TM screw. Any idea's on how to make it fit. I fear a thinner screw will not hold in place, and I can't make the hole bigger without removing the screw threads. Do they sell just the screw for a CA cocking handle?

Well you could try and bore out the hole but depending on what that lever is made of that could weaken it to the point it would snap again.

The Guarder steel one is a plug and play item.

Luckily you broke the most useless part on an MP5. Lol, I've never broken mine, but did break the sling stud off one of my MP5s (sliding down a 'firepole' with my gun slung of all things), just replaced it with a loop made of 550 paracord. I know that doesn't help you, but just felt like pointing out the cocking handle is useless.

Go with the Guarder one. My TM one broke easily (too much abuse). I've been abusing the handle with the Guarder handle and tube. Works great and feels great. Doesn't feel cheap at all.

Well I already bought the the Classic Army one so I'm gonna give it another try first. Besides nothing says that even if I do purchase a Guarder one I won't have the same problem with the screw not fitting.
