First Attempt At Painting

Hey all, here is the Cybergun Sig552 with painted receiver. This was the first attempt of painting an airsoft gun and it'd be great to hear some comments/advice to see if it can be even better. My father is an antique toy collector/ restorer as a hobby and wanted to try his hand on something a bit .. bigger!

Actual gun:

I am not familiar with airsoft.

What my question is, does the element of surprise work on a typical airsoft match?

Your painting looks good.

You could draw the detailing back in. This is what I did with all the guns I have painted.

Other then that.. good work
