Anyone know if any brand makes a full-metal magazine, including the mechanism inside?

I've got Dboys metal M4 low caps and they feed well but sometimes a jam bb or so once in a blue moon. But I'm going to invest in TM mags soon since I heard such good things about them. |

you mean you have a tactical maraca.
there are alot of companies that produce metal mags, if you want ALL metal construction stay away from highcaps as they have a tendency of only having the shell being metal(there are exceptions) now personally I have King arms and have not had issues with them, before i had star and yet again no issues |

stay away from star mags, atleast the real cap ones. I bought a box of 10 of them not even a year ago and 4 of them are totaled *springs kinking spring guides not even being shipped with the mags... stuff like that*. Also the followers are really short on them so you loose easily 4-5 rounds. TM mags are solid and I have never had a feed issue. The followers extend into the feed tube. How ever I just can't justify the 30-50 buxs for a mag that people ask for them. As that is the first thing thats going to get lost on the field and forgotten.

Tokyo Marui Magazines are the best IMHO but the prices are steep unless you can find them used.
They also fit a lot of the different brands of metal bodies depending on the model of the AEG. Since you are in the market for an AK mag, the metal TM AK Mags should have a very positive connection with any AK on the market =] If you are tight on cash, don't be afraid to try another manufacture. Good luck |

G&P makes some really great metal AK mags.
150 rounds, very great construction, amazing look and feel. $20-25 a pop though, or about $110 USD + shipping for a box of 10 lol. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magazines...ack-10pcs.html http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magazines...k47-150rd.html

The AK hi-cap!? What do you need 600 bbs rattling in a metal tin for? Do your friends not call hits?

If you want nice solid AK mags, look at Real Sword. 150 round mid caps with the same external material as the real deal. And they're tough and feed reliably. Can't say enough good things about my RS mags.

TM is always a good, reliable choice.
However JG is just as good for about merely half the price. Edit: This is from a fellow AK user. Last edited by Skladfin; March 1st, 2010 at 17:52.. |
