Best 1911a1 mags?
Not sure if this is in the right section or not but I am curious as to wich mags are reccomended for use with a 1911a1. I currently have 1 KJW mag wich leaks and two BELL mags wich have slight leaks.
Any suggestions would be great thanks. |

TM will be the answer for any GBB pistol mag.

are not hot! Cold hard steel is the way to go. Smooth is fast, easier equals lower skill curve. Shame on you.

A bigger bumper means it's easier to index the mag when youre grabbing a new mag, that's why I prefer 5.1 mags to 4.3 mags on capas

lower skill curve = less mistake under duress = reliable action....

For some reason the MEU mags don't work with my Nova Kit MEU as well as Bell mags or TM 1911 classic mags. The MEUs don't kick as hard or achieve the same kind of velocity. No idea why.

Single stack 1911 mags in general don't have very good gas capacity, the best you can hope for is to get mags that don't leak so that you're not losing the little gas you do have, and those would be TM mags

taken haha What duress? We shoot little plastic bbs at each other. I don't do Caps, so maybe you have a point there. Where I play, I simply switch to my 2nd pistol, since CQB style games are short and changing mags not a problem if you hit your targets on the first try.

I did notice last time you pretty much strap a bunch of pistols on you....lol
Playing real cap at TTAC3 with 10bbs in 1911 I did end up have to reload in a game.... I also have no trouble using MEU mag in both of my Nova kit TMs... |

Haha, yep— gotta have the right
tool for the job: 3.9 is for rapid firing up close, SV5 is built for above average power and the SV6 is for pretty much the same plus better accuracy on those long lines. And lastly, rubber knife. Yah real cap will do that, I like using 15-17 bbs, since my SV's are HiCap, gotta have a little extra to compete with AEGs.
