Real Steel Grips on KJW M9 GBB?

What GBBs can take real steel grips?

Can a KJW M9 GBB take real steel Beretta grips?

I know that real steel Hogue grips work fine on a KJW M9. Have them on mine. No mods required. Perfect fit.

Whatever you do, be careful when removing the right side grip on any airsoft M9. The trigger bar spring will fall off, and it's very, very easy to lose.

kjw m9 fits a real steel Hogue grips perfect /\ I should read the other posts first. Ya about that spring B careful.

I was thinking of factory beretta made wooden grips. Anybody know about those?

Unfortunately I do not know of other grips, however the great thing about wood, is that if there is to much of it. Its not that hard to remove some. I cant say for certain but since I didn't have to modify my M9 or my Hogue grip to install it, that would lead one to assume that regular grips should work. However I will leave the confirmation up to someone else.

I tried factory wood Beretta made grips on my KJW, you will have to lightly file them, and possibly use some force. Even after that they placed friction upon my trigger bar, perhaps just needed more filing/dremel work.

What is his price range before I bother him with PM? I've seen some factory beretta grips for $50 on ebay, that seems quite good.

As far as the trigger bar and spring, which part is there on this diagram that I should be worried about?

I've had that problem before...the part you want to look out for is #65 on your diagram.

Thanks, what is there to watch out for? Does it fly out unexpectantly or snap when you take off the grips? If I hold down the bar, does it keep it in?

When I took my right grip off, it came flying out and I actually lost it in my mess of a basement. I found it shortly after tho
I would advise you to take off the right grip carefully and slowly and make sure your surroundings are relatively clear in case it does fly out. For me, the little bugger flew off in the 2-3 o'clock direction.

Dremel solves everything! Had to slightly enlarge the screw holes, sand down the slide release cut-out, file down a few internal edges, sand down the slide bar cut-out, and route a larger cut-out underneath the slide bar area. Also, the trigger bar spring stayed in place the whole time. It never came out. I should probably treat it with some guitar lemon oil.
