Awesome, I'll take a look at some products and see if they can just send the stock. This will make it so much cheaper to do this project, not to mention, if I bought a full gun I wouldn't want to take it apart!

Another thought, you can always buy the complete thing and sell of the unneeded bits on the classifieds here.

Very true and a great idea!
I just contacted someone on eBay about their L96, but otherwise I will definitely be doing just that. There's no point in having brand new extra parts laying around!

All in all, do get AV'ed. Not just for the stock, but you also gain access to the accessories trade forum, which will most likely be very helpful for a milsim player.
