I would not recomend buying lipo for a first battery.
Just buy a standard NiHM battery, 9.6 if you like, though theres nothing wrong with a 8.4 Just because KWA says it "lipo ready" doesn't mean you gun wont break a heck of a lot faster then if you just used standard batteries.

Although there are many benefits to lipos, I dont think I will ever switch. It just seems like unnecessary risk, I would probably use a Crane stock anyways, as I really like the way they feel, and i really don't need an insane ROF, 9.6 is fine

i own a full evil black metal kwa m4a1 and if the body of these is reasonably solid then its way better than g&g halfbreeds, kwa internals are quite nice! (according that they are the same that the ones on the full metal version)
btw i run a small 8.4v or a small 7.4v lipo in my kwa and its PLENTLY of rof. 11.1 on this thing is just ridiculous... the thing pisses a white line

LFP is the future. More powerful and compact than NiMH, safer than Lipo.

Now there are the Cansoft SRC Gen3 AEG's that are also 11.1V Lipo ready as well.
Just because they are Lipo ready doesn't mean you have to use a 11.1V Lipo for it. I prefer using 11.1V Lipo because I use single shot 95% of the time and I like the fast trigger response time especially with the 007 Magnum motor. Yes Lipo batteries are more dangerous because a stupid person could easily set it on fire. So they aren't idiot proof. But they are also light weighted and ridiculously small, while packing a high voltage. Ken |
