ICS M4 Internal Questions

So i was wondering because i cant seem to find out what internals come with the gun.

1. Are you able to take apart the upper gearbox and replace the parts with aftermarket upgraded parts, like springs and air nozzles?

2. Does anyone know what grade spring comes stock on their guns?

Yes, the gearbox is 100% TM compatible so basically ALL after market parts will work.

Only the mechbox shell and one other part isn't compatible.

and the hop up and the and the anti-reversal something i think

The only parts that are not Ver.2 Compatible are the Mechbox and Hop Up unit. I suggest ICS Hopup as its pretty precise. and the Anti Reversal latch as they have it incorporated into the forward assist to release the tension in the mechbox.

thanks for the info, now does anyone know what spring comes in it. I ask because i play alot of outdoors and eventually would like to upgrade the fps.

Most of ICS gun shot around 320-340 fps with stock spring. I'm sure about that since when I got my gun brand new and chrono it.

I think it's a m110, don't quote me on that I have yet to receive my ICS and take it apart.

really an m110, i thought maybe a m90 or m100 since i found an upper gearbox with an m100 in it from ics, i wouldnt think they would offer a down grade if the gun doesnt shoot over 350 from stock but maybe. How can you tell what spring it is?

I think its a M90 since it shoots 320 around when I chrono it, I just took the spring out a while ago and replace it with a M120. It takes around 10 mins to replace a spring for a ICS Upper gearbox.

what does it shoot with an m120 spring if you dont mind me asking. as well as what all do you have done to the gun?

I think it shoots around 370 ish and thats all I replaced so far was the springy.
