Question how would you make an airsoft shotgun semi-auto?

how would you transform a regular pump action shotgun to a semi-auto one?
does it exist in airsoft?

Closest thing that comes to mind would be the Saiga...doesn't look like a shotgun but it's a shotgun. But it kind of defeats the purpose of a shotgun in airsoft.

Edit: Found one on Redwolf: click

There's a CO2 powered Walther shotgun that fires 3 round spreads in semi auto.

ah
I was thinking of modifying a regular Tri-Shot, by adding some motorization to the pump action...like a mechbox...

Isn't that an actual BB gun though? With steel shot? I seem to remember seeing it on the UmarexUSA website.

External air would provide the power a mechbox wouldn't. Blow back and shell ejection would seal the deal nicely!

Blow back, Yes. But shell ejection is stupid if you want to ever game it.

that would be sweet

I've never seen a pump-to-semi conversion. Ever.

External-air-powered Maruzen M1100 with a shellcatcher FTW.

/thread.

I vote for external air revolver using the Maruzen shells. Pancor Jackhammer style
