i already have the lipo packs and chargers so that a +, i found afew reviews and they were all good.

i play mainly field battles so range is a big deal

If range is a big deal why go with a M4 "CQB"?

How about a M16? Something simple but will get you your range you acquire.

i figured that if i didnt have enuff range i could hide a longer barel in a silencer

i guess the main reason im looking at the kwa is the internals seam ready vs i would have to upgrade a ca or star

i havent found a lipo ready kwa m16 in the states for sale yet.......... im looking

edit

looks like they dont come out untill 9/16 and they are about $100 more than i can get this m4a1

If you want more range, use a tightbore, heavier BB's, and most of all, use a good hop-up rubber.

Dont worry too much about upgrades just yet, especially if you dont even have the gun. Get it, play with it, dont neglect the hopup, give it LOTS of attention and find that sweet spot, try different weight bbs until you find the best weight, and you will be able to see what your starting point is. Then if you still feel you want more, start tinkering with upgrades. The base of any and all upgrades should be the hopup unit/rubber. Then you can go into a tightbore barrel. Just take it one step at a time dude.

For hop-up unit and rubber Prometheus is from what I've heard a great brand.

- Prometheus Soft rubber (If your field limit is 400 FPS or lower otherwise a hard rubber will do the trick)
- Prometheus hopup unit

I got these links off redwolf but I'm sure you can go to airsoft extreme or the warstore or something and get the same stuff. Also redwolf is out of stock on those hop up chambers/rubbers so you'll have to source them out from somewhere else.
