YOu need this buffer tube.
It has the enough space for buffer tube lipo and wires. So your stock can be full y retractable. Quote:

as far as I understand your talking about a standard body - pretty much all M4/M16 bodies slide on and are screwed in using a long screw which passes into the mechbox backend, even on the clearsoft lowers u get on the G+G's are like that. sounds a bit like ur goin down the wrong path here. I don't think the problem is the body to be honest and if u buy a new one I don't recon it will make any difference :S
If you do indeed have a different style of body could you post up some pics so we can see whats going on. Sounds like people are cofused as to what you mean?

I dont see why. That is the style of body I have.
The inside space of my buffer tube is not big enough for any of the buffer tube lipo's for sale on the Internet. I have a 2.5cm wide by 10cm long space for a lipo. All the ones online are 14cm long lipo's. So I'm wondering if I need to replace my buffer tube with a longer version to actually fit a battery inside?

There's no longer buffer tubes. The tubes for Lipos that Huang (and others) sell are longer on the inside because the nut and screw that support them are deeper inside (note how short the screw is). As a result, you may have to cut down the nub on the back of your body that supports the buffer tube and stock. ALL M4 bodies have that nub sticking out, you need SOMETHING to support that stock. It's just too long to accomodate a Lipo but if you cut it down and use the buffer tube Huang sells, it will fit.
