I believe changing the spring is just like changing the spring on any other G&G Top Tech model of M4.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

do NOT use a spring that heavy, that is retarded, you WILL break the mechbox, and that spring will shoot way too hot for any field, no game host will let you use it, stay with the stock spring, more FPS does NOT equal better

Once you start getting that high, unless your a seasoned vet who knows your AEG like the back of your hand, and its a HIGH QUALITY AEG THAT CAN SUSTAIN THAT STIFF A SPRING (very important here, since we are talking about a G&G blowback afterall) you dont want to go over 350-370. That should be a limit for that kind of gun, and Im going to assume that your fairly new to the sport (given your choice of aeg) and you would be unaware of the damage a gun shooting 415-450 FPS not only to the gun itself, but you can also potentially seriously harm the people you are playing with. And when you start getting closer to 400+ then you really start to lose accuracy, the ideal place to be at is 350-370.
As has been said, keep the spring the gun came with, dont worry about upgrading until the need arises, like when your piston breaks, gears need changing, etc... |
