Weather Proofing?
I was just curious to whether or not is it possible to weather proof/ resist an AEG. Any help on this one would be appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone.

well, as long as you didn't drop your AEG in water then weather won't do anything to AGE except in Winter, the battery will be shorter than summer. The rest would be fine. I play my gun in Winter, heavy rain, sandy field. There is nothing affect my gun yet in those weather and condition.

Ah, thanks. The only reason I ask is someone I consider a newer player asked me, and I have never even thought of it before in my year of playing. Thanks again.

Yup, I've played in the pouring rain, no problems. Well, if you have a Systema PTW it might stop working but otherwise AEG's are fine.
Might want to dry/wipe the gun down or disassemble into major parts to let it dry afterward. |
